How to Apply for Better Together Home Loan Program
Step 1: Contact First Federal Bank of Kansas City and apply for a Better Together Home Loan. The bank will verify that your target property falls within a qualifying LMI census tract in the Kansas City MSA and confirm income eligibility. First-time buyers must complete a HUD-approved homebuyer education course before closing. The $5,000 grant is applied to down payment and closing costs at closing.
