  • Geographic restrictions: Available across New England (Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont) through participating FHLBank Boston member institutions.
  • Homebuyer education required: Yes

How to Apply for FHLBank Boston Lift Up Homeownership

Step 1: Work with a participating FHLBank Boston member bank or credit union. Must contribute at least $1,000 of your own funds toward down payment. Complete homebuyer education through a HUD-approved counseling agency. Maximum household assets of $150,000.

Notes

Can be layered with other local, state, and federal DPA programs. The $1,000 down payment contribution must be the homebuyer's own funds, not a gift.
