Up to $10,000 for down payment and closing costs (6% of purchase price or $10,000, whichever is less); plus up to $35,000 for home repairs (Deferred Loan)
Zero-interest, no monthly payments. Loan must be repaid when the home is sold, transferred, or is no longer the primary residence. Can be repaid early without penalty.

How to Apply for City of Henderson First Time Homebuyer Program
Step 1: Contact the City of Henderson Community Development Division to apply. Applicants must have lived or worked in the City of Henderson for at least one year, have a credit score of at least 640, have less than $25,000 in assets, and make a minimum personal investment of $1,500 toward the purchase. Completion of a homebuyer education program is required.

Program is funded through CDBG and HOME funds. Total assistance up to $45,000. The down payment/closing cost portion is capped at 6% of purchase price or $10,000, whichever is less. Up to $35,000 additional for home repairs.
