  • Geographic restrictions: Home must be located within Kennewick city limits. Borrower must contribute the greater of $1,000 or 1% of the purchase price toward the purchase.

How to Apply for Kennewick Down Payment Assistance Program

Step 1: Apply directly through the City of Kennewick HOME Program. Complete a HUD-approved homebuyer education course, get pre-approved with a participating lender, and submit the city application package with required documentation. Total debt-to-income ratio may not exceed 41% (or 43% with a credit score of 680+).
