Zero-interest mortgage for the life of the loan. No interest charges.

Eligibility

  • Income limits: Household income must be between 45% and 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI) for Pickens County
  • First-time buyer required: No
  • Geographic restrictions: Must live or work in Pickens County for at least 6 months. Serves Easley, Pickens, Liberty, Central, and Clemson.
  • Homebuyer education required: Yes

How to Apply for Pickens County Habitat for Humanity Homeownership Program

Step 1: Applications open periodically (most recently expected January 2026). Contact Pickens County Habitat for Humanity to check current application status. Applicants must complete a minimum of 200 hours of sweat equity service, including helping construct their own home and other Habitat homes. Must be a legal resident of the United States.
