How to Apply for Youngstown Metropolitan Housing Authority HCV Homeownership Program
Step 1: You must be an existing Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) participant with YMHA.
Step 2: Contact the YMHA Homeownership Coordinator at 330-744-2161 ext. 251.
Step 3: Complete required first-time homebuyer workshops and pre-purchase counseling.
Step 4: Meet employment and income requirements.
Step 5: Work with the coordinator to find and purchase an eligible home.

Available to existing YMHA Housing Choice Voucher participants only. Employment must be full-time for non-disabled, non-elderly participants.
