Eligibility
- Income limits: Less than 80% of the HUD Mortgage Rate Based (MRB) income limit. At least 30% of program dollars must benefit extremely-low-income households (<30% AMI).
- First-time buyer required: Yes — A first-time homebuyer is defined as anyone who has not owned a home in the last 3 years.
- Geographic restrictions: Davis, Jefferson, Keokuk, Mahaska, Van Buren, and Wapello counties
- Homebuyer education required: No

Step 1: Loan applications are accepted at any time. Call Matt at 641-684-6551 to schedule an appointment with the Area 15 Regional Planning Commission. Funds can be used on the purchase or construction of a home.

AHEAD RHTF is a revolving loan fund administered by Area 15 Regional Planning Commission. Mission is to promote creation and preservation of affordable housing for low-to-moderate-income households across the 6-county region.
