How to Apply for City of Ames CDBG Homebuyer Assistance Program
Step 1: Contact the City of Ames Housing Division and Habitat for Humanity of Central Iowa at 3504 Grand Avenue, Ames, IA 50010 or 515-232-8815. Applicants must be first-time homebuyers, U.S. citizens or have eligible immigration status, and cannot have more than $100,000 in liquid assets or $300,000 in non-liquid assets.
