Complete HUD-approved homebuyer education through Horizons, A Family Service Alliance.
Get pre-approved with an approved lender.
Find an eligible home within Cedar Rapids city limits.
Submit the completed application, including proof of income, education certificate, and purchase contract, to the City.
The City will inspect the home for program compliance.
Receive written commitment letter and closing instructions.
