Ask about current Housing Development inventory and the 80/20 shared-equity homeownership path. 3. Enroll in CMCA's Financial Opportunity Center coaching to work on credit, income, and savings. 4. Complete HUD-approved homebuyer education. 5. Get pre-approved with a CMCA-compatible lender for the 80% portion. 6. Close with CMCA holding the 20% soft-second lien; you own and occupy the home.
