No repayment required. Because it is a grant, there is no second mortgage on your home and no restrictions on reselling or refinancing.
Eligibility
- Income limits: Borrower income at or below 115% of Area Median Income. Income limits are based only on the borrower, not the household.
- First-time buyer required: No
- Geographic restrictions: Must purchase a single-family, owner-occupied principal residence in Ohio. Condominiums, townhomes, and PUDs are eligible.
- Homebuyer education required: No
How to Apply for Communities First Ohio Down Payment Assistance (The Port)
