How to Apply for Davenport Urban Homestead Program

Step 1: Applications are accepted when rehabbed homes become available (typically a few each year). Submit the application on the City of Davenport website and work with Community & Economic Development staff at 563-326-7765 to determine eligibility. Income restrictions apply.

Notes

City of Davenport acquires vacant/dilapidated homes, rehabilitates them with federal funding, and sells them to qualifying low-to-moderate income buyers. Roughly 140 homes completed since program started in the 1980s; 3 homes were offered in spring 2025.
