How to Apply for Genesee County Habitat for Humanity Homeownership Program
Step 1: Contact the Homeowner Services Director at (810) 766-9089 ext. 212 or email homeowner@geneseehabitat.org. Applicants must demonstrate need, willingness to partner (including sweat equity hours), and ability to repay an affordable mortgage. Homebuyer education is required.
Notes
Genesee County Habitat builds or rehabs 6-8 affordable homes per year and provides free housing counseling services. Sweat equity hours are required as part of the partnership.
