How to Apply for Genesee County Land Bank Affordable Homeownership Program
Step 1: Browse available homes on the Land Bank website. Attend scheduled open houses for Featured Homes or apply for Ready for Rehab properties. Provide proof of income with your offer. All land contract buyers must complete homebuyer education through an MSHDA or HUD-approved agency prior to purchase.
Notes
The Land Bank has sold more than 7,300 houses in Flint and Genesee County. Featured Homes are fully renovated and mortgage-ready. Ready for Rehab homes are sold at low cost for buyer renovation.
