How to Apply for Grand Forks Community Land Trust
Step 1: Browse available CLT homes on gfclt.org and contact GFCLT to begin the qualification process. GFCLT does not provide mortgage financing directly; buyers must qualify with a participating local lender. Buyers must agree to the CLT ground lease, which limits resale appreciation in exchange for permanent affordability.
Notes
NDHFA provides funding to the Grand Forks Community Land Trust as part of its CLT pilot program. CLT homeownership is similar to traditional homeownership except buyers receive only a portion of appreciation at resale.
