Eligibility

  • Income limits: Household income between 30% and 80% of Area Median Income with satisfactory credit history and no accounts in collection or bankruptcies in the past 4 years
  • First-time buyer required: Yes — Must not currently own a home or must be living in substandard, subsidized, or unaffordable housing.
  • Geographic restrictions: Greater Bangor area, Maine. Must have lived or worked in Greater Bangor for at least the past year.
  • Homebuyer education required: Yes
