Step 1: Apply through Habitat for Humanity Kansas City. Application requires HUD-approved homebuyer education and financial counseling. Notes

Approved by Lenexa City Council February 2026 (7-2 vote). Habitat KC paid $825,000 for the 17-acre site. Homes will be 1,800-2,200 sq ft, single-family. Part of a broader Habitat KC strategy to build whole CLT neighborhoods in Johnson County.
