How to Apply for Milwaukee $35,000 Homebuyer Assistance Program

Step 1: Complete 8 hours of HUD-approved homebuyer counseling. Get pre-qualified or pre-approved for a first mortgage. Contribute at least $1,000 of own funds. Work with a real estate agent to locate an eligible city-owned foreclosed property.

Notes

Limited to no more than one half of the total cost of the purchase and rehabilitation of the property. Must be 1-2 unit housing.
