How to Apply for NH Housing Community Heroes Initiative

Step 1: Finance your home purchase through one of NH Housing's Plus mortgage programs (Home Flex Plus, Home Preferred Plus). Provide proof of current employment with an eligible organization. The $3,000 credit is applied at closing and does not need to be repaid.

Eligible professions include healthcare workers, daycare and eldercare workers, law enforcement officers, firefighters and first responders, educators, and active members of the Armed Services. Program is self-funded by NH Housing and available until funds run out. Verify current availability with NH Housing.
