How to Apply for Northeast Mississippi Habitat for Humanity
Step 1: Contact Northeast Mississippi Habitat for Humanity at (662) 842-4675 or email director@nemshabitat.com
Step 2: Attend an informational session to learn about program requirements and the application process
Step 3: Submit a completed application demonstrating need for adequate housing and income between 55% and 80% of area median income
Step 4: If selected as a partner family, complete homebuyer education and financial literacy courses
Step 5: Fulfill 250 hours of sweat equity by helping build your home and volunteering on other Habitat projects
Step 6: Close on your affordable Habitat mortgage and move into your new home
