- Geographic restrictions: Must purchase an owner-occupied single-family home, condo, or duplex in the Madison/Dane County area.

How to Apply for Own It: Building Black Wealth Down Payment Grant
Step 1: Must be affiliated with one of Own It's community partners (One City Schools, Centro of Dane County, or Anesis Therapy). Complete both the Wealth Building and Homeownership courses. Apply during one of two annual application windows: February 1-15 or August 1-15.
