How to Apply for Parkersburg Housing Authority P.R.I.D.E. Program
Step 1: Contact the Parkersburg Housing Authority at (304) 428-6753. Applicants must have acceptable credit history (or one that can be improved over 2 years), good rental history, and meet HUD income guidelines. Families attend homeownership counseling classes and join the homebuyers club.

P.R.I.D.E. stands for Program to Reinvest in Individual Development and Enterprise. This is a 2-year lease-to-purchase program, not traditional DPA. Families lease the home for 2 years while preparing for homeownership through counseling and credit improvement.
