How to Apply for Springfield Housing Authority Homeownership Program

Step 2: Verify you meet income and employment requirements (full-time employment for 12+ consecutive months for non-elderly, non-disabled applicants).

Step 3: Complete pre- and post-mortgage counseling provided by the Housing Authority.

Step 4: Apply during an open enrollment period. The program is limited to 10 families.

Notes

Includes pre- and post-purchase counseling covering credit repair, loan applications, and home maintenance. Employment must be full-time and continuous for 12+ months for non-elderly, non-disabled participants.
