  • First-time buyer required: Yes — Must be a first-time homebuyer.
  • Geographic restrictions: Must purchase in the City of Albany (for up to $10,000) or in select other communities (for up to $5,000).

How to Apply for AHP Black Homebuyer Down Payment Assistance

Step 1: Contact AHP Homeownership Center at (518) 434-1730 or visit ahphome.org. First-time buyers who identify as Black may apply for this additional assistance on top of other available programs.
