How to Apply for Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity Homeownership Program
Step 1: Attend a Habitat information session or download the application from their website. Step 2: Submit a completed application with income documentation to 33 Meadow Rd, Asheville, NC 28803. Step 3: Demonstrate housing need (overcrowded, substandard, paying more than 30% of income on rent, or in temporary/subsidized housing). Step 4: Each applicant on the deed must commit to 200 hours of Sweat Equity. Step 5: Complete a Homebuyer Education program. Step 6: Email apply@ashevillehabitat.org or call for more information.
