- Income limits: Household income must fall between 35% and 80% of the area median income for Bryan/College Station.
- First-time buyer required: No
- Geographic restrictions: Must live or work in Bryan/College Station for the past 12 months. Serves Brazos County, Burleson County, and Robertson County.
- Homebuyer education required: Yes
How to Apply for Bryan/College Station Habitat for Humanity Homeownership Program
Step 1: Attend a free Homeownership Program Information Session. Sessions are held in English and Spanish. If selected, you must complete homebuyer education and contribute sweat equity hours helping build Habitat homes. Must be a US citizen or permanent legal resident with at least one year at current employer. Contact BCS Habitat for Humanity at their Bryan office, 119 Lake Street, Bryan, TX.
Notes
As of March 2026, BCS Habitat is actively accepting homebuyer applications after a pause of approximately 18 months. Applicants selected based on housing need, willingness to partner, and ability to repay an affordable mortgage.
