Eligibility

  • Income limits: Household income must be between 30% and 60% of the Area Median Income (AMI)
  • First-time buyer required: No
  • Geographic restrictions: Must purchase a Habitat-built home in Dartmouth, Fairhaven, Freetown, Lakeville, Marion, Mattapoisett, New Bedford, Rochester, or Wareham
  • Homebuyer education required: Yes

How to Apply for Buzzards Bay Area Habitat for Humanity Homeownership

Step 1: Contact Buzzards Bay Area Habitat for Humanity at 508-758-4517 to attend an informational session and begin the application process. Selected families must complete homebuyer education and contribute 300 hours of sweat equity.
