How to Apply for Camden County Habitat for Humanity Homeownership Program

Step 1: Apply through Camden County Habitat for Humanity. Homeowners are selected based on level of need, willingness to partner with Habitat (including sweat equity hours), and ability to repay an affordable mortgage. Contact 856-484-5615 or email eacevedo@habitatscnj.org.

This is not a traditional down payment assistance program. Habitat builds or renovates homes and sells them to qualified families at affordable prices with zero-interest or low-interest mortgages. Since 1986, Camden County Habitat for Humanity has partnered with 66 families to achieve homeownership. Homebuyers invest hundreds of hours of sweat equity alongside volunteers.
