First-Time Homebuyer Programs in New Jersey

New Jersey offers some of the most generous homebuyer assistance in the country through the NJHMFA. The NJHMFA Down Payment Assistance Program provides up to $15,000 as a forgivable loan, and the First Generation Down Payment Assistance adds another $7,000 for first-generation buyers. Combined with the NJCC Statewide DPA program offering up to $30,000, qualified New Jersey buyers can access over $50,000 in total assistance.
