How to Apply for NJCC Statewide Down Payment Assistance Program

Apply through an NJCC-approved lender. Complete homebuyer education. Can be combined with NJHMFA DPA for total assistance up to $52,000.

Notes

Nonprofit CDFI program. $40 million in new funding available for 2026. Due to high demand, prior year funding was fully committed. Applications reopen when new annual funding becomes available.
