How to Apply
- Step 1:
Check your eligibility. Most programs require first-time homebuyer status (no homeownership in the past three years) and income at or below 80% of the area median income for Middlesex County. The Esperanza DPA is limited to the Esperanza neighborhood.
- Step 2:
Complete homebuyer education. Contact the Housing Coalition of Central Jersey at PRAB at 732-249-9700 to enroll in a HUD-approved homebuyer education course. Most programs require a certificate of completion within the past 12 months.
- Step 3:
