  • Income limits: Must earn less than 175% of the Federal poverty threshold
  • First-time buyer required: No
  • Geographic restrictions: Must be an Indiana resident in CASI service area (Clark, Floyd, Harrison counties).
  • Homebuyer education required: No

How to Apply for CASI Individual Development Account (IDA) Program

Step 1: Contact CASI Family & Individual Development Services Manager Marilyn Warren at (812) 288-6451 ext. 2113 or mwarren@casi1.org. Participants must save at least $25 per month and be employed.

Notes

Program requires saving over multiple years. Example: $400/year saved for 4 years ($1,600) matched with $4,800. Participants receive financial counseling and pre-purchase homeownership counseling.
