  • Income limits: Must meet income guidelines for the town in which purchasing (typically 30-80% AMI)

  • Geographic restrictions: Serves Pittsfield, Dalton, Housatonic, and surrounding Berkshire County communities

How to Apply for Central Berkshire Habitat for Humanity Homeownership Program

Step 1: Apply through Central Berkshire Habitat for Humanity. Must have lived or worked in Berkshire County for at least one year, obtain mortgage pre-approval from a third-party lender, and complete 275-425 hours of sweat equity.
