  • Income limits: At or below 80% of Area Median Income. 1 person: $56,650; 2 persons: $64,710; 3 persons: $72,770; 4 persons: $80,830
  • First-time buyer required: Yes — No person in household can have owned a home within the past 3 years.
  • Geographic restrictions: City of Baytown limits only. Single-family detached residences only.
  • Homebuyer education required: Yes

How to Apply for City of Baytown First-Time Homebuyer Assistance Program

Step 1: Contact Stephany Medina, Community Outreach Specialist at 281-420-5398. Apply online at css.baytown.org. Must complete HUD-approved 8-hour homebuyer education course before applying. Buyer must contribute minimum 2% of sales price. All household members must be legal U.S. residents.
