Eligibility

  • Income limits: Cannot exceed 80% of the area median income per family size
  • First-time buyer required: Yes — Must be a first-time homebuyer, displaced homebuyer, or not have owned a home within the last three years.
  • Geographic restrictions: Must be a resident of Gaston County (excluding city limits of High Shoals or Spencer Mountain). Also available to residents of Kings Mountain city limits in Cleveland County.
  • Homebuyer education required: Yes
