Eligibility

  • Income limits: Household income cannot exceed 80% of Area Median Income (AMI) by household size
  • First-time buyer required: Yes — Must not have owned a home in at least three years or have never owned a property.
  • Geographic restrictions: Must purchase a home within the City of Trenton.
  • Homebuyer education required: Yes

Funded by HUD Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and Home Investment Partnership (HOME) programs. Funds can be used for down payment, closing costs, and/or principal write-down. Eligible properties include single-family and multi-family homes (up to 4 units) that will serve as primary residence.
