Eligibility

  • Income limits: At or below 90% of Area Median Income (approximately $105,210 for a household of four in Clark County).
  • Purchase price limit: $600,000
  • First-time buyer required: Yes — Must not have owned a home in the past 3 years.
  • Credit score minimum: 620
  • Geographic restrictions: Property must be located in Clark County, WA and used as primary residence. Must be used with a WSHFC Home Advantage or Opportunity first mortgage.
  • Homebuyer education required: Yes

How to Apply for Clark County Down Payment Assistance Program

Step 1: Complete a free Homebuyer Education Seminar through WSHFC and obtain certificate. Work with a WSHFC-participating lender to get pre-approved for a Home Advantage or Opportunity first mortgage. Attend a one-on-one pre-purchase counseling session before closing. Apply through your lender, who will submit the DPA reservation to WSHFC.
