How to Apply for Columbus Area Habitat for Humanity Homeownership Program

Step 1: Pick up an application at the office located at 3520 River Road, Columbus, GA 31904, or call 706-653-6003. Must have had the same job or source of verifiable income for 6 months or more. Must be willing to make a cash down payment and contribute required sweat equity hours. Families typically move in within 1-2 years of application.

Notes

Sweat equity hours include a Homeowner Academy with training on finances, home repair, homeownership, and community responsibility. Families must live on a lot provided by Habitat.
