- Homebuyer education required: Yes
How to Apply for Dartmouth Homebuyer Assistance Program (HAP)
Step 1: Apply through the Dartmouth Affordable Housing Trust when a program cycle opens. Applicants are selected through a lottery process compliant with Massachusetts EOHLC guidelines.
Notes
Funded through the Community Preservation Act (CPA). The Trust periodically releases funds to offset market prices and create deed-restricted affordable units. A qualified consultant administers the program including buyer eligibility certification and ongoing affordability oversight.
