  • Geographic restrictions: Serves Jacksonville and Northeast Florida (Duval, Nassau, Baker, and St. Johns counties).

How to Apply for First Coast Habitat for Humanity Homeownership Program

Step 1: Apply through First Coast Habitat for Humanity. Applicants are selected based on level of housing need, willingness to partner with Habitat (including sweat equity hours), and ability to repay an affordable mortgage.

First Coast Habitat has helped over 2,400 Jacksonville families achieve homeownership. Applicants must complete homebuyer education courses and invest sweat equity hours helping build homes.
