First-Time Homebuyer Programs in Florida

Florida Housing Finance Corporation offers several powerful homebuyer programs. The Hometown Heroes Housing Program provides up to $35,000 in down payment and closing cost assistance for eligible workforce occupations. The FL PLUS programs (HFA Preferred and HFA Advantage) offer 3% to 5% of the loan amount as a forgivable second mortgage, fully forgiven after five years. The FL Assist program provides up to $10,000 as a zero-interest deferred second mortgage.
