  • Income limits: Household income at or below 120% of Area Median Income (AMI)
  • First-time buyer required: Yes — Must not have owned a home or had an interest in a home during the three-year period immediately prior to applying.
  • Geographic restrictions: Home must be located within Seminole County, Florida.
  • Homebuyer education required: Yes

How to Apply for Seminole County Purchase Assistance Program

Step 1: Apply through HELP CDC, the HUD-certified housing counseling partner for Seminole County. Contact HELP CDC at 407-628-4832 to be placed on the notification list. Must be pre-approved for a first mortgage through a Seminole County-approved lender.

As of early 2025 the waiting list is closed. Contact HELP CDC at 407-628-4832 to be notified when it reopens. Assistance amount varies by income level up to $145,000 for down payment and closing costs on new construction or existing homes.
