  • Income limits: Household income at or below 120% of Area Median Income for the Bradenton/Sarasota MSA, adjusted by family size
  • Purchase price limit: $400,000
  • First-time buyer required: Yes — Must be a first-time homebuyer.
  • Geographic restrictions: Must purchase a home within Manatee County.
  • Homebuyer education required: No

How to Apply for Manatee County SHIP Down Payment Assistance Program

Step 1: Must work with one of Manatee County's certified lenders. The certified lender submits the application on behalf of the homebuyer. Contact the county or visit mymanatee.org for the current list of certified lenders.
