Zero-interest, 15-year deferred loan. If the homeowner lives in the home for 15 years, the loan is fully forgiven.
Eligibility
- Income limits: Household income must be between 1% and 80% of Area Median Income (AMI)
- Purchase price limit: $327,750
- First-time buyer required: Yes — Must not have owned a home within the last 3 years and cannot have previously received housing assistance from Volusia County.
- Geographic restrictions: Home must be located within Volusia County. Excludes the city limits of Daytona Beach and Deltona. Eligible cities include Port Orange, Edgewater, Oak Hill, Pierson, and other unincorporated Volusia County areas.
- Homebuyer education required: Yes
