10-year deferred payment loan that is gradually forgiven as long as the homeowner continues to occupy the home as primary residence.

Eligibility

  • Income limits: Must be income eligible. Amount tiered by income level: very low income receives up to $70,000, low income up to $40,000, moderate income up to $10,000.
  • Purchase price limit: $345,000
  • First-time buyer required: Yes — Must not have owned a home in the past 3 years.
  • Geographic restrictions: Home must be located in Orange County, Florida. Applicant must have lived in Orange, Osceola, Lake, Polk, Brevard, Seminole, or Volusia County for at least 12 months.
  • Homebuyer education required: Yes
