How to Apply for Greenville NC Down Payment Assistance Program

Step 1: Call 252-329-4481 to schedule an intake appointment with the City of Greenville Community Development Division.

Step 2: Complete required homebuyer education.

Step 3: Verify your income meets low-to-moderate income requirements.

Step 4: Work with a participating lender to get pre-approved for a mortgage.

Step 5: Find a home within designated target areas in Greenville city limits.

Step 6: Submit your application for down payment and closing cost assistance.
