How to Apply for Habitat for Humanity Abilene Homeownership Program

Step 1: Orientation sessions are held once a year in the Spring. Call the Habitat for Humanity Abilene office to place your name on the orientation list. If selected, you must complete homebuyer education classes and contribute 250-400 hours of sweat equity helping build Habitat homes.

Families are selected based on level of need, willingness to partner with Habitat, and ability to repay an affordable mortgage.
