- Geographic restrictions: Property must be under contract and located in the Habitat KC service area: Johnson, Wyandotte, or Leavenworth County in Kansas, or Jackson, Platte, or Clay County in Missouri.
- Homebuyer education required: Yes

Step 1: Property must be under contract before applying. Apply via habitatkc.org/dpa. Applicants must demonstrate debt-to-income (DTI) ratio below 45% of gross income and complete HUD-approved homebuyer education.
