Affordable mortgage with no down payment required (Zero-Interest Loan)
Homeowners pay an affordable, zero-interest mortgage set at 30% or less of household income. Sweat equity hours are required as part of the program.

- Income limits: Household income between 30% and 80% of Area Median Income (AMI) for Lee County.
- First-time buyer required: No
- Geographic restrictions: Must live or work in Lee County or Hendry County, Florida.
- Homebuyer education required: Yes

Step 1: Contact Habitat for Humanity of Lee and Hendry Counties at (239) 652-4663 or visit habitat4humanity.org. Must save $1,700 toward closing costs. Attend homeownership classes on budgeting and home maintenance. Complete 300 hours of sweat equity volunteering.
