How to Apply for Habitat for Humanity of New Castle County Homeownership Program
Step 1: Submit application at Habitat for Humanity of New Castle County, 1920 Hutton Street, Wilmington, DE 19802. Must earn a Housing Counseling Certificate, attend home maintenance training, and complete 225 hours of sweat equity on the job site.
Notes
Applicants must be 21 years or older and provide 12 months of verifiable income. Selection based on level of need, willingness to partner, and ability to repay. Also offers the Almost Home program to help low-income buyers qualify.
